Data Deletion & Account Removal

We understand that you may need to delete your Shuttergen account or remove the brand assets stored within it. The quickest way to permanently delete your data is through the in-product settings panel. Follow the steps below to submit a deletion request, and our systems will automatically purge your data within the stated retention window.

Delete your account from Shuttergen

  1. Sign in to your workspace and open Settings → Privacy.
  2. Scroll to the Delete Account section and review the confirmation text outlining what will be removed (projects, AI generations, prompts, billing data, team membership).
  3. Click Delete account and follow the prompts. You may be asked to confirm via email to prevent accidental removal.
  4. Once confirmed, the account enters a 24-hour grace period. During this time you can contact support to cancel the deletion if it was requested in error.

After the grace period, we begin irreversible deletion. Active sessions are terminated, stored assets are removed from our CDN and storage buckets, and personal information is queued for deletion from backups within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, paid invoices).

Need help or have a compliance request?

If you are unable to access the dashboard or require a formal data-erasure certificate, reach out to our privacy team. Include the email address associated with your account and any workspace identifiers so we can verify ownership.

What happens after deletion?

  • All AI-generated avatars, videos, and photos associated with the workspace are removed.
  • Product uploads, prompts, and brand assets are deleted from Supabase storage and our media CDN.
  • Billing information needed for tax and accounting may be retained for up to seven years, but it is decoupled from your personal profile.
  • You lose access to the workspace immediately after deletion completes; data cannot be restored.
